From the seminar brochure:
Born in Taiyuan, China, Master Yang Jun is the 6th generation direct family descendant of the founder of Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan, Yang Lu Chan. Since the age of 5, he has been trained by his grandfather, Grand Master Yang Zhenduo to carry-on the Yang Family traditions. In 1995 he was given the title of ―Shanxi Province Famous WuShu Master‖ by the Chinese WuShu Academy. He is certified as the highest-level judge in China and served as head judge for the 1998 National Tai Chi Competition in China. He moved to Seattle from China in August 1999 with his wife Fang Hong to teach and serve as President of the International Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan Association.
Master Yang Jun now travels the world over giving seminars in Tai Chi Chuan. His skill is unquestioned. His forms seamlessly combine softness with hardness, finesse with flair, and restraint with expression. As the great grandson of the famous Master Yang Chengfu, Master Yang Jun is the present day family successor and standard-bearer for the rich heritage of Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan. This seminar offers everyone interested in the art of Tai Chi Chuan an opportunity to meet and learn from one of the world’s foremost authorities on Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan.”
